Anthony Marchione is a guitar picker & song flicker from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. His journey began with the rock records he grew up on and the cassette tapes he recorded on his father’s 4-track Tascam. Those early tapes—smuggled into school in a KISS lunchbox—marked the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of expression through music.
He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he formed the psychedelic rock group The Mysteries. The band developed its aesthetic through steady gigging in local dive bars and recording in the South Philly house they shared, a space that became both rehearsal room and studio.
After graduating, Marchione returned home joining his friends in Ceramic Animal. He toured and recorded three albums with the band, including Sweet Unknown, produced in Nashville by Dan Auerbach. This led to gigs opening for The Black Keys at legendary venues such as Red Rocks and the MGM Grand.
When the touring slowed, Marchione seeped back into life back home, turning wrenches at his family’s auto repair shop while continuing to write and record. His current work reflects the full span of his experience—observing, writing, and years on the road—now distilled into his own voice as a solo artist.
